"I had the Party of the Decade (for me) and Laura & entire crew at Serendipity Catering were absolutely outstanding in creating an event that my friends are STILL talking about from last September, 2010. The party was a cocktail party with buffet dinner (6:30-10pm) for 100 people in my home to celebrate our recent kitchen/addition renovation and a certain (large) birthday of mine. We invited everyone we knew so wanted it to be just perfect!

I had started with a smaller caterer referred by friend who developed a personal schedule conflict so I was desperate to find someone reliable, who would offer really good food (my husband and I do lots of cooking and are very picky with what we serve). I was also very aware of maintaining a certain budget.

Laura was like an angel sent from Catering Heaven -- She was kind, patient, funny, smart -- and handled every one of my nervous and sometimes odd requests. She helped me get the entire party organized including all the rentals for tables, bar, glasses, dishes, etc. and the theme of party. There are so many moving parts to a large party and Laura calmly and efficiently gets it all done so well.

My party was a HUGE success-- people raved about the food and service. We had 2 full bars staffed by Serendipity bartendars and one was a fun Martini & Margarita Bar with exotic fun Jersey Shore/summer themed drinks. Serendipity's bartenders were perfect-- professional, fast, funny with guests and able to make all my crazy drink recipes in mass quantities!!

We had a private tasting downtown of all my potential food selections which really helped -- I met one of their chefs that day. The night of party the food service helpers transformed my garage into a kitchen (wild to see) and served up the tastiest food -- fish tacos were to die for, shrimp on sticks, a fun brushetta, etc. all got RAVE reviews from my friends-- and we had more than enough food!

Laura had a photographer stop by to take pictures of the set-up, food and even wait staff and my husband & I before party -- these are keepsake pictures I will treasure!!.

And to really treat me - Laura had a personal attendant worry only about my husband and me -- Kent - he was wonderful - making sure we had drinks and food, taking gifts from guests and being so kind and wonderful to many of my friends -- but getting them drinks and worrying about where purses should go -- he was amazing and made me feel like a princess!

Everyone did a great job cleaning up after this huge event -- and it was so easy working with them for both set up and clean up. The final bill was more than fair based on the food, service and overall quality and attention to every little detail. I would do again in a heartbeat!

Laura also hooked me up with Glenn at Corks - a wonderful supplier of liquor and wine and they were terrific to work with. They helped me figure out types of liquor needed for specialty drinks and also recommended some great reasonably priced wines. They dropped off everything day before party and picked up unused stuff for a credit the day the following Monday. Very easy to use this service.

All in all I HIGHLY recommend Laura and her entire crew at Serendipity. They are a catering company to be watched!!"
